| Description | The hive floats in the center of the room (maybe moves around slowly). In its first phase it spawns bees at a quick rate that randomly fly around the room, hurting the player on contact but not pursuing him. After some seconds of spawning the hive sends out an attack signal and all bees start glowing and home in on the player, exploding on contact. After that the pattern repeats. More dangerous versions could mix more dangerous bees into the spawning pattern, e.g. bees that shoot projectiles, leave dangerous trails or drop fire bombs that set the ground on fire. Another variant could use ice bees instead of regular bees that add a freezing effect when they touch the player. | ||||
