Description | I don't know if monster spawners are supposed to eventually have the graphics that they currently do, but it kind of sucks that skeletons on a stick are spawning monsters. Given the theme of the game is that time and space have been torn apart, I think that much better spawners would be portals that allow enemies from elsewhere to arrive. These portals could be rips in space/time. Furthermore, some could be more electronic and therefore sensitive to hits and lightning damage. These would be the skelebot portals. Others would be more elemental in nature, depending on where (and when) they're coming from, and they would be sensitive to different elements. | ||||

I'd be both in favour of a new default graphic for spawners; and of having variations by region/enemy/something. |

Now that monster spawners only exist in boss rooms, I'm not sure that this is worth spending a lot of time and effort on. |
