| Description | I remember in earlier versions being able to "swim" a little --- I think I could jump, then use ride the lightning, and then jump again without landing. In the most recent version, I only get the first jump and then ride the lightning, and the end result is that I never get any higher than the first ride the lightning. This could also be because of the recent nerf to RtL; I'm using RtL II. At any rate, this makes the ocean a good deal more difficult to navigate, and I'd like to have something done so I can get to the surface. Currently, I've just spawned in a surface tunnel, and there doesn't seem to be any way out except building a ton of wood platforms. | ||||

Working as intended, yes -- ultimately you'd want to become a fish, or don a diving suit, to do any substantial exploration. Those aren't in yet, but the base mechanics for not having them are working as intended. |

Okay, fair enough. Am I being a pest filing a mantis report about everything that annoys or surprises me? I've been assuming at this stage there's enough real bugs and issues around that it's worth reporting everything that seems like it might be one. |
