Summary0004451: Can warp out of trap rooms... not much of a trap.
DescriptionIf you cant warp out of boss rooms, it'd make sense for the same to be blocked for trap rooms.

I just used a potion to escape a horrible firey death, and now i feel somewhat dirty for it :)

I doubt anyone will die more than once to such a room anyway. Either they warp out or they just destroy all the traps before pulling the trigger. Might as well make it non-annoying.

Well, right now, it's not much of a trap, to be honest with you. You kinda see it a mile away, once you've died to it once. If the fire emitters were invisible, however, with perhaps a "reveal invisibility" spell, then it'd be a more interesting trap.

And you could have some characters possess traits which made them better at seeing traps, and therefore not have to use the reveal spell. (Or teach the trait to your character, or whatever.)

I mean, sure -- that could definitely be a way to go. If that seems like something that would actually be fun for folks, it could definitely be doable. "Ability to see hidden things" would be pretty interesting.

Trap rooms are sufficiently rare, so it'd be a nice twist compared to the relative harmlessness of normal switches.

Well, i think the solution to this is obviously more, and more varied trap rooms :)

I kinda like the current amount of trap rooms, if the traps were hidden. People would probably stop thinking about them after ten or so normal switches, and then BAM! Trap to your face.

* When there are activated enemy traps in a room, players can no longer warp out of the room (a "malevolent force" blocks them).
