Summary | 0003891: Make a note appear on the strategic map when a rampaging monster spawns
Description | While spending sometime on the strategic map, I hit end turn and didn't notice that a group of rampaging monsters spawned because it put a message in the message log which isn't displayed on the strategic map/settlement management screen. I only notice later when I saw them on the map because by the time I exited the strategic map, the message was gone. I can see this happening more often now that you can switch between settlements on the strategic map. Could you add some kind of message, a pop up perhaps, on the strategic map/settlement map when you end a turn and a group of rampaging monsters spawned?

I definitely favor a popup notification for this! |

I think an enhanced/additional idea would be: In the Settlement Management summary window: A note as to how many turns until rampaging monsters (if any) will arrive at that settlement. In addition, a note for how many turns rampaging monsters will arrive at the soonest to be clobbered settlement. FINALLY, if you click on either of those, go to the Scouting Map view and center over the specified rampaging monsters. |

As a player looking forward to expanded strategy and settlement parts of the game I agree with Admiral, i spend a lot of time looking at those screens |

Strong support for this. Often I don't have enough TUs to do an action, so I'll advance by a few turns only to pop out into the game world and find that I have monsters 1 tile from destroying one of my settlements. Very good luck on my part that I haven't had the monsters actually reach a settlement due to this neglect, but as it stands I have to exit/reenter the strat map or settlement management every turn even if my goal is to build up a few turns worth of TUs. |

Perhaps even a seperate log on the Strategic Map for notable events and stats. |
