Summary0003846: Desync makes co-op game unplayable
Descriptionwell, description says it all. about 4 and a half hours ingame, about an hour away from taking down the first homeworld, when we suddenly get a desync, right after we destroyed a 3.5k ship CPA. Reloaded a previous save several times but no succes, it desyncs at the exact same moment each time. I'll post an autosave of some mins before the desync and a save during the desync... don't know if they'll be of any use to you though.
Really hope this can get fixed, I would like to be able to finish my first co-op game :P

yes, it says desync when we're both in the game.

Thanks for the info and the save. If it's really reproducible like that it shouldn't be too awful, but I'll have to wait until I have an mp setup here; been a while since I had to test for a desync :)

Ok, finally got my mp-testing setup going, and ran your save (the autosave one) for about 20 minutes without touching anything and nothing bad happened. How long was it taking before desyncing for you?

Hope you don't mind me "playing" troubleshooter here, but a few questions.

There should be a log generated from the desync in the runtime_data folder, on every machine (host and other players). Should those be posted?

Also, what OS is each of them running on?

woops, didn't notice you posted something until chris talked about desync on the forum...
desync came in less than 5 mins after auto-save.
haven't played a new game yet with that friend of mine so I wouldn't know if it was a one-time thing or a serious problem... Rusty Hearts is consuming most of my time atm... but I'll find out soon enough if the same problem will occur again.
