Summary | 0003759: Spire blade spawners react to subspace signals as if there are enemies
Description | Spire blade spawners react to subspace signals as if they are enemies in system to attack and spawn their wee ones. Not a huge deal, but i hate the clutter it causes from them just spawning and sitting there ;). Saw this happen on home planet subspace signal, will confirm on others, but my money is on it being across the board :). P.S. Was tempted to put severity as Major for comedic purposes, but have restrained myself :(.

The problem is that the subspace signals belong to a enemy to the player minor faction player. Thus, it counts as if an enemy is on the planet when there is a signal on that planet. IMO, they should belong to a neutral to everyone minor faction player. |

dont forget the spire and the ai are at war and im guessing this interaction is a side effect from the intent to cause that system to go on alert because of the signal. actually i have noticed this behavior in response to scouts as well. so they spawn blades that go nowhere cause they cant see the scouts but they know they are there like we do with scout info on. *** correction now that i got 1. they spawn regardless of enemies. so you are apparently seeing an intended effect |
