| Description | http://www.arcengames.com/forums/index.php/topic,7250.0.html I started the importer, set the correct path to my old install and clicked Import settings -> an exception is displayed. Clicked copy saves and 347 saves were copied successfully, so the path was indeed correct. exception image: http://s13.directupload.net/images/101002/ra9np72o.png I am running win 2008 server (non R2) german SP2 as non-admin user, both versions use non-standard paths and are not on the system disk. | ||||

* The old version of the "AI War Pre-4.0 Settings Importer" did not work because it was in a folder with a file called AIWar.exe in it. Based on how .NET looks for file assemblies, that was causing it to look at the wrong file for trying to bind. Now the importer has been updated to run instead from inside the RuntimData folder of the game install folder, which bypasses this issue. |
