My first guess is that is the special power of the ai type you're playing against. You can use that command (see the cheats page) to find out, if you aren't sure. |

this may be but i am also noticing that it is affecting the neinzul roaming and protector hives as well. if they weren't auto aggressive that would be a bigger problem. i havent been able to catch it but they have become cloaked while in a tachyon field as well though they are decloaked shortly thereafter.
*** nevermind caught one cloaking inside the tachyon field and not being spotted almost as if it isn't scanning the ship because its not supposed to have cloaking

repeatedly with this ninja ai. i have units that are cloaked and under tachyon coverage refusing to be scanned. i know it would slow things down but you likely need to add a check for wether ai is ninja and add tachyon scan against ships that normally can not cloak. cloaking ships are detected but anything that doesnt have cloaking doesnt get detected by tachyon coverage. fortunately or not if ship is not in low power mode then it will attack because it doesnt consider itself cloaked since it doesnt have the ability. but my guess is these are low power which is one anti targeting function and they are cloaked without cloaking which is preventing detection. maybe add a pass to make any computer ship on player worlds wake up and go active so they acquire targetss and reveal themselves? fyi i have had a carrier in a backwater system cloaked for about 7 hours in my current game and i have tachyon covered the entire system with decloakers and it wont scan.

I'm seeing this too. The single cloaked ship counts as hostile, so my harvesters don't autorebuild after a battle in the system. |
