Summary0003285: Enemy: Tornados.
DescriptionThese will go into the deserts. Ideally I want to try scaling these up to make them more imposing, so long as it doesn't hurt their visual quality too much. Being cloud-like, I suspect this may work out okay.

If that does work, then I might have several sizes of them, with some massive screen-sized ones being absolutely terrifying ones that the others turn into during windstorms only, or something like that.

Otherwise they are pretty similar to desert burrowers, except that when they change direction (or collide with objects) they instead fade to invincibility and no longer hurt the player during that period of being invisible. Then once they start moving and are safely moving for a few minutes, they fade back in and are dangerous again.

Having them swirl you around a bit and fling you like a skelebot goal kick would be a nice touch.
