| Description | For reference: http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/21782/how-to-properly-set-up-quad-positions-for-2d-with-an-orthographic-camerareference Note that if you use a resolution of (for instance) 1267x721, it will be super crisp and perfect. That's a 360.5 ortho, 1.757282 aspect ratio. Other really odd-like numbers of that sort also produce good results, but of course this is not acceptable for general use. | ||||

Tentatively, I'm going to call this one done in 3.703. However, I'd definitely like feedback on if folks are seeing this at all. Basically, far zoom icons looking a lot muddier than the icons on the planetary summary, or far zoom icon borders being so thin that it's hard to see the yellow border versus white, etc. The link to the unity answers site has the solution there, although it's just hokey enough that I'm worried that someone, somewhere, will still have an issue with it. I'm talking with another guy on the unity answers site still who is more knowledgeable about this area and is hopefully going to be able to clear up the last point of confusion with that part of the coordinate system... |
