| Description | I was wondering if it would be possible to add a journal message saying that you have failed the spire campaign when a shard is destroyed. I am really asking for immersion sake. I am somewhat of a masochist and don't like to reload a game if I fail a mission (after all the spire hub is still useful regardless of it you have failed the missions), I like to live with the consequences of my mistakes (something this game is good at making you do :) ). I find it a little hard to carry on as the storyline becomes somewhat broken as there is no message from the spire telling you why they don't want to have any more dealings with you. At present it opens the glaring question of why they cannot simply find another shard. Maybe it would be best to end the missions with something along the lines of the spire no longer trusting you after your failure and as such they will ask for no more assistance. You can always get more cities and more ships but not be able to get the ultimate ending, but just use what you can get with the remaining shards to try and win normally. Like if you lose one shard you can still get the others but not the final shard or something. | ||||
