Description | Starting my second timeline, I was pleased to see I was given a giant stash of microbots and slurry to start building with. However, I think it would be a cool effect if the player had to earn those resources by doing projects in prior timelines. Something like: Contemplation: Research Bootstrap options Step 1. Search the city for large deposits of X that can be rapidly converted into Slurry & Microbots Step 2. Develop the technology to transform X into Slurry &/or Microbots. | ||||

The timelines are connected, but I want people to be able to quickly start new ones. Adding any sort of extra mental load to the starting of a new timeline is the opposite of where I want to go. I get what you're saying, but I expect a lot more timelines than I think you may be thinking. |

Fair enough. It wasn't clear, but I was suggesting it would be something you'd do just once, and after that it would be available only every successive time line. So once you found the secret lake of slurry, you'd never have to do it again since it's always in the same place. |
