| Description | Currently, it takes the AGI plotline to (possibly) get the ability to scrub unit IDs. What if the PMC Impostor started with that ability? Marked Defective and other statuses prevent blending in, and are difficult to clear because anrdoid serial numbers are difficult to fake. But as far as anyone knows, the PMC Impostor is not an android with a serial number. It's a dude in full body armour. If human IDs were easier to forge than android serials - which is the kind of thing that absolutely COULD happen - TMI could create new identities for the Impostor units nice and fast. So, if you want to keep your units marked clean / blending in, then rather than have to trek to a licensing agency every fight, you just use PMC Impostors as your main combatants and click the "generate new ID" button on them for a small wealth cost. (Note: This still leaves Bulk Impostors in a bit of a funny space.) | ||||
