Description | It just makes them too unreliable, and like a bit of a booby prize compared to spiders which don't have that restriction. None of the NPC_Military, NPC_PMCs, or NPC_Secforce characters (except the Secforce Hacker) have exposed skin, and that's a huge proportion of what you're fighting. Bees are ok against syndicates and gangs and the like, but the vast majority of meaningful and difficult combat is against Vorsiber military or Secforce. If you want to keep the requirement, I think it would be wise to add "uncovered skin" to most of the military, PMC, and Secforce units. Soldiers don't generally wear fully-enclosing, hermetically sealed gear unless they're specifically equipped for NBC warfare - it's just too hot and too restrictive. And if androids are available, those would be the ones used for scenarios with a risk of NBC weapons anyway. The Hazmat is the only human unit I can see that should really be immune to bees. | ||||

They're meant to be unreliable, and that a genetic upgrade makes them more useful. |

Fair, but I still feel it's odd for such a large proportion of the military to be in fully sealed gear. Especially ones that are just on patrol at a PoI. |
