Summary | 0029194: Rear attack damage bonus on melee attacks seems random
Description | When you perform a melee leap attack, your robot moves to a seemingly-randomly-determined spot near to the target, and then attacks. Positional bonuses such as rear attack are applied based on the new position, not the starting position. This means that getting a rear attack bonus on a melee leap seems to be determined by luck alone. I would prefer if melee leaps behaved in one of the following ways: * Always get the from-behind bonus if available * Never get the from-behind bonus * Get a from-behind bonus based on the starting position of the move, not the destination. This is a low-priority issue (the current situation *works*, it's just that the player can't influence whether or not they get the bonus), but with combat receiving something of a rework, it felt like a good time to bring it up. I don't currently have a save with a good example of this, I'll see if an appropriate situation crops up when I play more though.
