"Regenerator Astro Train" was removed from 5.0. |
Wait, it was? Why? |
I don't like this idea. It'd basically be a ton of free build power and would make the Enclave Starship almost redundant. |
We have this already. It's called a Regen Golem. There's no need to make a fleet ship equivalent to it, and indeed, doing so would make the Regen Golem less interesting. |
For 5.064: * A new Ancient Shadows bonus ship class has been added: Neinzul Scapegoat (Mark I-V). ** Mature Neinzul organism without the short lifespan of a Youngling. Capable combatant in its own right, but also sacrifices itself to regenerate military fleet ships on the same planet when they take critical damage. Thanks for the idea :) |
Please at least change the name so it isn't Neinzul. You are contradicting your own mythology. |
@Faulty Logic Notice though that these are not called younglings. I think that the "short lifespan" thing only applies to things called younglings. However, it does seem a little odd, as the only non-youngling Neinzul ships so far have been starship class or above. |
But the description for the Neinzul alien race is "a race of perpetual younglings" or "sentient fruit flies" and the Enclave Starships are just structures containing racial knowledge, which each new generation must learn. |
Actually, I just realized something. They still do "kill themselves off", but as they are more "mature"/"enlightened"/whatever, they managed to shift their self attrition from just being awake to when an ally dies, and even manage to do something useful when this happens too. Still, I hope that these things don't have the many of the advantages the others have (extreme cheapness, high speed, etc) to make up for this. |
