Description | Carrier trains would wander around, summoning to themselves 2/3/4 small ships on each time they visit a new non-alert world, up to a maximum of 100/150/200 ships. If the train enters a player controlled world, or one that's currently under attack, it releases its passengers. This results in occasional unexpected reinforcements, or when it drops them in player territory, the firepower bump to convince the nearby freed ships to join the party, along with a probable shattering of close turret defenses.
Also possible would be a luxury carrier, which along with the above, would recruit guardians or starships up to a maximum of 2/3/4, with a reduction in small ships carried to half usual. |
