Descriptionkilled all guard posts and the ai eye didnt destroy had to complete capture of ars and counterspy to destroy.

Attached a screenshot of a planet that may become cause of more of these reports. Personally I find this perfectly fine, just take the planet, nuke the shield, poof Eye.
But it requires pretty good timing, specially since the planet had some defenders near the capturable stuff.

Are you sure you killed all the guard posts? I've seen more stealth guard posts lately; I note that 33 is a rather high number for cloaked ships unless your opponent has raptors or minicannons. You can usually tell what's going on because there's a force field around it, but sometimes you have to bring a decloaker to the party.

Added a sreeny, of how the AI likes to build 20+ rebuilders and places them in them in the middle of nowhere :)

fyi yes the ai in my game had huge amount of raiders and minicannon autopods as well often orphaned under shields and inactive until decloaked. also the game im currently in there is a counterspy ever other system throughout the entire galaxy . prevents scouting at a unreasonable level. and if the ai eye that show up every 10-15 systems are going to be unkillable its a problem. i am however thinking that i should just kill the counterspy myself since the ai kills them as an absolute priority on the counterstrike despite all reason.

Neither of these screenshots show what needs to be seen: how many guard posts does the AI Eye say are still present? If so, are any of the cloaked ships stealth guard posts? If it's saying there are no posts left, then there's something wrong. If it's saying there's a post left but you don't see any including stealths, there's again something wrong. If you haven't checked, then there's nothing wrong yet.

i will attempt to get a screenshot but yes it actually says 1 post but there isnt any.no stealth of any kind present. the system details show no posts and no stealth ships when i finished before planting a station to capture. only the ars and the counterspy. then i capture and poof it self destructs.

A save would work better. Something the devs -- and shmucks like me -- can open up and examine the entrails/meditate guru-like ourselves.

Motai, there's probably a stealth guard post on that system. They show up on the map overview as one of the cloaked entries. If you drag a decloaker over there you should find it fairly quickly.

no i mean there was 0 cloaked objects it was registering either the ars or the counterspy as a base

ok i have a save state. erdric i have a ai eye 1 guard post not visible i have mounted 6 or 7 forays with decloakers into the system and there is no stealth guardpost revealed. i am experiencing repeatedly appearing stealthed ships with no cloaking abilitied spawning and triggered by decloakers. these then kill the decloakedrs before the support ships can close and kill. please let me know where and how to get around this. its very annoying since the ai eye is a warp gate and has to die i dont want to waste half an hour to an hour killing it since the guard post is unlocatable and has no clues at all as to location.

ok for clarification i now realized what happend and it seems like a problem. there was a ai forcefield 3 over the stealth post. this prevented decloaking for some reason. is this intentional? my scout that is immune to the shield and the decloaker never had a chance to see the stealth post despite it being clearly in range. and having raiders present to kill it i should have been able to pick it off from under the forcefield except that it was prevented from being decloaked by the scouts.

I hate to say I told you so, but... yeah. Most (all?) stealth posts are under shields - that's their giveaway, that there's a shield with no post or cc underneath it. I do find it rather annoying that tachyons don't work through force fields though, even if the emitter is immune or even /within/ the field.

I added screeny 1, then a reply came about 'stealth' stuff, so I posted screeny 2 (incase the reply was aimed at the 1st screeny).

But screeny 2 doesn't show an AI Eye, just a bunch of engineers.

At the time I took the screeny I didnt know that posts could be removed when you placed a CC, or didnt think about it, just wanted to show I was aware of the cloaked items on the planet.
The 2nd screeny doesnt hold any value if you find my word to provide enough proof, and if you dont, it still hasnt any real value :D

Anyway, to say it again. When I took the first screeny the Eye would not pop, and I was pretty darn sure there was no stealth post on the planet as I popped a tachion warhead on the planet (and there where no shields).
