Summary0002478: Map size and deepstrike behavior
DescriptionI know the game is balanced for 80 planets, and as it is, deepstrike protocol kicks in if you go 5 deep, but for other size maps I think the AI should perk up if you go proportionally deep in smaller maps.
I think the best way would be to keep it proportional, with a minimum of 2.


Something like this:
10-30 planets = safe to strike only 2 deep
40-60 = 3 deep
70-90 = 4 deep
100-120 = 5 deep
and so on.

Honestly, I have little experience with other size maps, so might need a completely different setup, eg. 3 deep is always safe.
