Summary0002442: Metal/Crystal Harvester reset on planets
DescriptionIf you load up the attached save you should see it. As soon as you come in you get messages in the top right for Metal or Crystal Harvesters being reset on various planets. It looks like all the resource points move around. I'm assuming this is related to the RNG changes, but it might be related to this:

* Put in a fix to prevent older savegames and the tutorials from having their resource points and wormholes all rearranged because of the new random stuff. This was tougher than perhaps it sounds, actually. The placement of stuff in the tutorials (not wormholes or resource points) is still going to be a bit different than it used to be, though -- so any feedback folks care to give us on how that's working and if there's anything amiss in the tutorials, would be much appreciated!

The strange thing is I loaded this save once after the patch, and it played fine. Then I saved, and reloaded again from THAT save and that is the one is showing this behavior. It seems if I save and reload again, it doesn't happen. This may not be a problem if it's just happening once, but I thought I'd report it anyway.

I experienced this issue after the latest patch, don't have any old saves from this game anymore. Graphics of the resources are out of place and annoying the hostile wormhole on my home planet shifted over to be much closer to my command station. Planet Thoji in reshuffle.sav.

* The way that the planet resources/wormholes are populated has now been moved exclusively back to the old method. This means that savegames from 4.067 will show up different temporarily, and then will go back to normal with this new version onwards.

Wait, does that mean the games generated and saved from 4.067 will have stuff shifted around in 4.068? Will this old generation process be used in new games as well?

It appears to be shifted. I loaded a pre-patch game, and I now have a wave incoming from a wormhole right next to my command station. Meanwhile, all my turrets and mines are guarding an empty spot. Sad times.

Yes, they'll shift that one time, but that's just a matter of the stuff that was saved in 4.067. Sorry about the inconvenience, but at least it's a temporary thing rather than something to be battling ongoing.
