Description | I don't think there's ever a situation in which you really want to go very far beyond the large circle on the minimap. Ships that proceed that far slow down immensely (playing with a Scout II right now, making it leave the circle eventually gives it a speed drop to /16/ from the 290 that it usually gets in hostile territory), and you cannot build outside the smaller circle. I suggest then that panning the center of the view outside the large circle (or perhaps the circle that contains the most remote ships, whichever is larger?) instead clamps it to the edge of the circle. | ||||
