Summary | 0002272: Numbers should be monospaced and flush right/decimal aligned
Description | To make it easier to visually compare numbers: Lists containing only integers should be flush right. Lists containing decimal numbers should line up all the decimal points vertically. This makes it easy to eyeball the magnitude and compare numbers. However, for this to work to its fullest extent, all the number glyphs must have the same width. Many fonts, including the one used in AI War, do not do this. It's possible to modify the font file so it does, though. I'm looking into it, but it may require code support - I don't know how the program interacts with the font, and I've seen some shrieking horrors out there.

You are absolutely right. At my old job with business software, I did exactly that. But, unfortunately, the ui system here is not as robust as, for instance, HTML. |
