| Description | I noticed in one of my campaigns that i was barely doing any damage on the first planet i went to. So i decided to check out how much damage my ship was actually doing, the planet had a planetary armor booster and i found that bombers and armor boosters/planetary armor boosters have some weird armor issues causing the damage to be incorrect. (I created a new game to test out the armor booster ships) These are the settings for the games i've tested this on. No Script, 120 planets, Snake style map, Conquest campaign, all 6 expansions. Ships: All Complex Game options: Normal combat style, normal unit cap scale. Ai options: Zenith Traders, Alt Champ Progress 10/10, Fallen Spire 10/10, no ai progress No Ai plots. Using a Neinzul shadow destroyer with 900 base damage and 12 armor piercing. Targetting a Plasma Siege starship MKII i did 180 damage per hit, which is the minimum 20%. The ship has 6 armor and i expected to deal 894 damage per hit. Targetting a Zenith Siege Engine i did 2524 damage The ship has 3 armor and i expected to do the full 4500 damage since there is a 5x multiplier vs Polycrystal Targetting a Heavy Bomber starship i did 2524 damage, which is odd since it has more armor than the Zenith Siege Engine. Expected damage was 4494. (900 * 5 multiplier - (6 * 3 - 12, to a minimum of 0)) Lastly in this initial test i targetted a Bomber MKIII, i did 2524 damage once again. Since the bomber has 36 armor it is very unexpected to do the same damage once again. I then went to a planet without a planetery armor booster. Still the same Neinzul Shadow Destroyer, all targets except bombers received the expected and listed damage. Bomber MKIII with 36 armor should be getting 4476 damage yet it took 4458 damage. Bomber MKIV with 48 armor should be getting 4464 damage yet they take 4440 damage. Next i made a Spire Corvette MKI without any modules, listed damage is 9000 with 7 armor piercing Going back to the planet with the planetary armor booster, targetting said booster (it has 80 armor), it displays that it does 7014 damage. Targetting a Missile Frigate MKII with 6 armor, it displays 7014 damage Targetting a Bomber MKIII with 36 armor, it displays 7014 damage Due to the Spire Corvettes constant damage when it's firing its hard to properly test this for me Next i rerolled a the seeds until i got one with an armor booster. Clear out the wormhole entrance and send 1 fighter MKI through, it got ambushed by an Eye Bot MKIII Listed damage on the Eye Bot is 244, the fighter has 2 armor, the fighter takes 242 damage per shot, working as intended. Send in 1 Armor Booster MKI and get it in range of the fighter, tooltip says armor boosted 3x. Expect to see the fighter take 238 damage. The Eye Bot shoots and the Fighter takes 48 damage, which is equal to 20% of the Eye Bot's damage | ||||
