Summary | 0002041: Random AI difficulty setting
Description | since we can chose to pick random on AI type, I'd like to see a random option on difficulty setting too (and maybe on map type and amount of planets in a galaxy as well) to give the players an even more random feeling. I can imagine that when you've been playing this game for many many hours, you sometimes don't know what you want to do anymore. Using only randomized options lets the game decide for them.

i agree on all points. i added a related topic recently about random map: 0001754 http://www.arcengames.com/mantisbt/view.php?id=1754 i think maybe this total random should be a play style option. it would be nice to have these different individual choses for randomness, ai type, ai difficulty, map type, and amount of planets. but we could have also, have an optional rule that is "total random" that does each automatically, i was thinking on the list with "no wave warning" and those optional rules. thoughts? |

then I'd say both. so that people can still decide exactly which ones to randomize if they don't want all options random and just the maps and difficulty for example. and didn't know you posted something like this already. but yeh, I'd love to see a random option on pretty much anything. I'm used to playing games where it's already decided for you what to do... running missions, quests etc... so now that I can completely chose everything myself I usually just don't know what to do with it lol. so just being able to hit random on everything would be cool. |

You would be able to set a range, right? Like from 7-10? |
