I have wondered how Beachheads functioned on home worlds (having seen only a scant three or four) and assumed that something like this could happen. My suggestion would be to consider the "Home FF Generator" to be Mark 5 (or immune to EMPs/whatever as to not need supply). As it should never be leaving the home system we can assume that it will always be in supply, even if most other buildings are knocked out for a short while. |

I think giving the beachhead a delay before the AI can use one in a campaign would be enough, give the player 2 hours or so to gate raid all homeworld-adjacent planets and if there's still gate access to the homeworld after that call it the player's fault. |

Backdoor hacker is already pretty much a losing scenario in and of itself. :P Its not as bad as it was before, with the wormhole on top of the home station, but still pretty bad. |

So thus the question comes back to the front, should player homes be immune to beachheads? |
