Description | the AI shield generators should really be given a "switch on capture" ability so that in situations like the current one, where one of the A-level generators has spawned on a Dyson planet, such that players can build and then scrap a command center and still be able to destroy the generator without getting overwhelmed by hostile dyson gatlings. | ||||

Or, just prepare a big enough fleet, build a Mk. I command station as far away from the Dyson Sphere as possible, and blast the shield generator to oblivion. Alternatively, blow the other four to oblivion, and the fifth will follow. |

Pretty much what Toll said. It's a challenge, to be sure, but an optional one and totally one that can be overcome if you're determined enough. |

Yeah, I know I shouldn't really have said "impossible," but this was also back before it was an optional kind of thing. On another note, "build a Mk. I command station as far away from the Dyson Sphere as possible" doesn't really matter because Dyson Gatlings can't damage Command-Grade IIRC (Command-Grade multiplier of 0). |

The last time I built a station at a Dyson-planet, they sure blew that one up. It was a while ago though... Remember that the dysons that are player-hostile and those that are player-friendly are different though. |
