Summary0001979: Increasing engineer cap as you take planets
DescriptionThis is only for the cases where a player would take many of the planets in a game (*cough*)--one could discover that they lack of engineers to cover all their planets, and engineers during that phase of the game are beginning to lack in numbers. It would be a wonderful thing for the game to increase the engineer cap by one per every planet you may inhabit, and for it to collaterally scale up your production or repair rates as the game advances.

I'm mainly speaking about MK1 cap so it's up to the decision of everyone else of what happens to the higher tier engineers. I assume the raw cap when you start will be lowered; this could be another incentive early game to unlock MK2 or MK3 engineers.

Not too big of a deal, and I don't see that it's much of a balancing issue. If you already have 39 or whatever planets, then you should receive extra cap.

Definitely not. Allocation of fixed numbers of resources is a key part of the game.
