That's about equal to two bomber mk 3s (in normal anyway, double/halve for appropriate ship cap), and bombers have a far higher ship cap than snipers. Sniper waves are one of the easier things to deal with in my opinion, doubly so since you have a turret that completely negates their damage. |

If you folks can come to an agreement (i.e. vote tallies) on sniper waves being excessive at this point I can certainly make some changes, but both the high hp and the wave size not changing are intentional. The ship cap multiplier that is used for humans is also used in computing the number of snipers in a wave (so it'll be 1/5 as many as if it were a fighter, for instance). |

No; in my game, I've received a wave short of 1K bombers and the same amount of snipers, which is why I say it's weird for snipers to be sent in equivalence. |

That's entirely possible, though, if it's two different AI players with different multipliers, or there was a different wavesize multiplier based on how long it had been between the waves (shorter on the bombers, longer on the snipers), etc. Could be there's a bug, but there's a LOT of factors that could mean the sniper wave actually was 1/5 what it would have been if it had been bombers at that exact wave. |

They're 7/7 vanillas, and it's somewhat consistent through waves I've experienced. I say it's a problem for when you're not expecting or don't have the sniper diffusion turret; perhaps a slight decrease? By HP alone they're heavy sinks. |

Do you you have wave calculation logs of the sniper and the bomber waves? Advanced Logging will get you those, if you have it on at the time. |

I am no longer seeing 1K waves of snipers, strangely. I've received a wave of about 400 snipers to a wave of 1 100 bombers, so perhaps this issue has been fixed. |

Since Snipers have a 0.2 ship cap (bombers have 1.0) I'd have expected something a bit smaller, but there are also some significant random and semi-random factors involved in the size calculation, so that does sound in the reasonable ballpark. Thanks for the update :) |
