Summary0001893: Idle cloaked AI ships on captured planets
DescriptionA lot of planets that I've recently captured have cloaked ships that don't do anything, and just sit idle. I can only assume that they are still in low-powered mode, and that they're not re-activated to do anything.

Yes, and I'm finding that there are many occasions where I've destroyed a command station that AI ships are still sitting in low-power mode.

Are these cloaked ships minefields? If so, then they wouldn't get destroyed until you capture the planet.

Or, are they ships attached to a stealth guard post (which has a cloaking super-booster)? In which case, if they didn't abandon the guard posts (again, only a 50% chance of that happening by design), then this is also exactly correct.

Mines don't seem to get scrapped on planet capture, only remains.

Yeah; when you capture a planet, mines stay. When you trigger the mines again, though, both the mine (of course) and the remains of said mine goes poof.

Odd, I thought I made mines go poof in that case. Will have to check again, I suppose.

Cloaked attack ships will also stay cloaked on human planets sometimes if overpowered I think. They can be there for a while. If the planet defense goes down or an attack comes in they tend to activate though.
