I have the latest Steam version installed. I can't run the game to find out what version it is reporting.

If this is a false positive, is there a procedure with the AV companies to get on their white lists? Good luck.

Ah, good old AVG. Various antivirus software companies go through this periodically where they will detect a possible trojan or whatever in our games, and then they fix them and it's good for a few years. In 2011 it was Kaspersky, and Norton was an issue in 2012.

Generally speaking they tend to resolve it on their own, because when it starts detecting our games it also starts detecting a whole lot of other games at the same time.
