DescriptionUpon entering the (major) boss room for floor 3, there is a lengthy error logfile in the right half of the screen (see attached screenshot). In addition, the room has no boss at all, although it allows me to exit to the next floor through the brown door (see attached savefile).

That's the Invader. The room is the pre-v3 variant. Something seems wrong with the boss buddy selection.

Invader has other issues too. :/ Copy paste issues moving it into the build.

Maybe not - Pepisolo made a few changes when he put it in.

From Keith about this particular case:

Gotta go, but bear in mind that if the report is from a run started before the update, that the main boss for each floor is rolled when the run starts. So even if that boss is no longer in the eligible list it will still be what's awaiting them. So if you're trying to replace it with a new "version" the old one is still in those runs. But it wouldn't apply to future runs.


So I'll ask, was this run started before today's update?

That is a very good question. I *think* it was started as a 1.013 run, but I'm not absolutely sure. It may have been 1.012.

Going by the SS it was the old version of Invader (1.012), the room and boss changed in 1.013.

It looks like it wanted the old version and erred out because it was changed.


I have run Invader in 1.013 and had no issues (I had a similar encounter with another changed miniboss that locked the game up for me, but that was an old run).

Closing. This was likely explained by the significant revision to Invader for 1.013. Old run into a new version and had a snag since the boss was changed.
