| Description | Ptarth Abmoog Submission v4 Notes Seven new basic enemies. They are using proxy art. The names are descriptive placeholders, nothing more. They are variants on player reactive enemies. The player reactive behavior is contingent upon the primary weapon firing. Secondary and missile weapons are ignored, and are a very blatant weakeness. I think they could be also modified using Keybind & Missile/Energy keybinds, but I think this way works better. SnakeHandler - Uses 3 different snake patterns draw at random from a larger bank of snake patterns. Janitor - Harmless unless provoked. You can leave while it is alive. AbmoogHackedRemoteTurret - Enemy with a player controlled laser. You can leave while it is alive. AbmoogSideStep - Dodge on shooting. AbmoogPhaseOut - Phase on shooting. AbmoogHitPhase - Phase on hit. Player reactive weapon. AbmoogHitSideStep - Dodges on hit. Player reactive weapon. a_testPtarthWorking.xml contains half of the enemy types for quick examination. It uses the room Quad/PT_Cells, which is much more useful than the last one. a_testPtarthWorking1.xml contains the other half of the enemy types for quick examination. It uses the room Quad/PT_Cells, which is much more useful than the last one. System, Bullet, and BulletVars.xml files contain supporting code. Just a note to say that I'll be looking into the integration of these guys. I wonder if I can assign this to myself...hmmmm. |
