Are special forces supposed to keep spawning units like that? The system between us and that system is completely empty, and they keep stacking up on the command station and at the wormhole.

If the special forces guard post still exists, it is supposed to keep spawning new stuff. And if you killed the planet next to it, then you've probably put it on alert.

If you neuter a planet but leave the special forces guard post, then you'll see even more terror from those things. They are usually high on my to-be-killed list, heh.

What's the math on how many units they spawn at one time? Just now (just prior to killing it) it just spawned 388 ships.
