| Description | As far as I know, middle-click has no current purpose when you have the details window or any other interface window open. I like that right-click is a way to quickly close it (as oppose to having to click directly on the close button), but I feel the flow would be smoother if middle-click would also do this. It would allow you to quickly open and close the details screen of a tile with the same button, without having to move your finger. I realize that right-click USED to be the way to open up the details and this was sorta how it was before, but I do think a simple mouse click should also cancel the current building selection and I sorta get why middle-click had to be made the new details click to accommodate this. I apologize for being a pain about all this clicking nonsense. :) I think it's better than before, but not quite there. | ||||

Somewhat related question, is there a way to change the keybinding for 'show details' at all? I couldn't find it. (Trying to put pan on middle click and show-details on something else for personal preference, not suggesting that as default) |

I also reported something similar ish about a week ago, where i suggested that middle mouse should be able to switch detail windows to a new building even if a current details window was opened. I think this, combined with the right click to outright close the window would add some nice smooth functionality. |
