Description | Resistance fighters are... massively underwhelming. I still see the issues being: a) they have barely any survivability, b) they can be engine damaged by objects like ion cannons, rendering them even more useless, c) they lack coordination. Solutions would be: a) increase HP and armor, b) be impervious to engine damage, c) have a group logic so as to improve coordination. I see c) being necessary because we already have a ton of mindless allies, from Dysons to enclaves. Resistance fighters can't recoup, nor have a regular chance of spawning, and thus improving their value to the player is an appropriate decision. Having them staying as a group and unanimously choosing the next planet to attack is significant in improving their effectiveness, as they currently tend to trickle off across whole systems to other fronts. | ||||

* The attack power of the resistance fighter/bombers and resistance frigates has gone up 10x, and their bonuses against hull types has gone down 10x. Their health has also gone up 10x, and they are also both now including warp detection and blind in their abilities list. Speed up from 18 to 48, also. Their ships caps have been reduced to 1/3 of what it was before, and their metal/crystal cost has gone up 3x. |
