| Description | Right now we are only given information about net income, total expenditures, and total income. I would really like to see a accounting summary report that breaks this down more. This way I can figure out what is and is not working in my city. Also, the Peltian Crop income should be added (as well as any other non-obvious income sources). | ||||

With this changing in the next version, do you still care? * No buildings have crown upkeep costs anymore. That was needlessly complex, and it could lead to situations where you had 0 crowns and negative crown income, but no consequences, too. ** Power draw is already a plenty fine method of doing an upkeep cost, and having power AND crowns as a potential upkeep cost is definitely not ideal for understanding what is going on. Power draw has a great system of penalties and so forth already, so just sticking with that one makes a lot more sense. |

I think a more detailed income breakdown would still be useful, assuming we don't already have one. For example, I'd like to know that half my cash comes from trade deals with the Burlusts and I should try to avoid angering them or that the sudden drop in available funds is because all my bankers are dying of cooties. |

For 0.898: * Clicking the crown stockpile top HUD indicator now brings up an accounting report of your crown income/expenditure (going back to the last time you pressed end-turn). ** You can also reach this on the Reports dropdown at the bottom of the screen. ** This doesn't go into exhaustive detail, but all transactions are recorded in some way or another. If you think it needs more detail please let us know. It may be something that's going away (diplomacy's going to be overhauled, for example) or it may be something that will make sense to break out further. Thanks :) |
