With holo-resorts and so on and the way things work now, is this still something you'd want? |

I don't like that idea, it would make population management trivial and jobs management too easy IMO. Also, it's already somewhat "doable" by not building the housings, and switching off birth centers. |

I'd still like a slider on the city management screen to do this. I don't have problems with the growth anymore, I can limit it based on needs. However, I'm not like other players apparently either. |

Okay, cool -- since this isn't so big of a deal to you anymore in terms of your problems with growth, I'm going to close this one out. This is something that I'm also not a fan of for the reasons I mentioned as well as actually the same things kasnavada said. |
