Summary | 0001585: Zombies from a botnet golem are alerting a Raid Engine when entering that planet | ||||
Description | So the raid engine in the game is 3 hops from the closest planet that I own and I haven't sent any ships in the direction of the raid engine at all. My botnet golem is chewing up the recent large wave sent in by the AI and once it is done all the zombies start marching in toward AI controlled space. Some of the army reaches the raid engine planet and the raid engine activates. I was already losing terribly in the game to see how brutal the raid engine was but I really don't think that zombies should alert a raid engine. | ||||

I see where you're coming from, but consider this: If you send the Botnet golem there alone, it will not alert the Raid Engine either, leading to a serious exploit. :/ |

Not really. If you try to take out any worthwhile planet with a botnet golem, you'll lose it. |

I agree with this. especially because zombies act on their own, there won't be as many of them as there would if they were human controlled. |

And fwiw the botnet golem solo would still trigger the engine. In theory you could use some botnets to "DDoS" the engine via mass zombie swarms, but honestly I'm willing to call that a fair victory if you pull it off ;) |
