DescriptionI think these rally posts will be a huge leap forward in managing defense of multiple planets (which is good, so we can focus on big picture stuff with less effort and clicking).

Want to make this even better? Could you implement something to the effect where I have a spacedock pumping out units for a redirect post (that enters a loop), and the dock will *maintain* a certain number of ships (or will not build more if the certain number of ships are already in the loop)? Currently, I have to keep my eye on that, and am constantly checking to make sure my ships are balanced in my different planets (which are not always connected by an unbroken string). Its really time consuming, as I have to check each type of each ship for each of my globs of planets (I delegate defense to my Mk I ships).

Cross-planet loops, along with maintaining a certain number of each type of ship, would streamline the process of defense, much like auto-maintain-# and auto-FRD remains rebuilders take a huge load off of turret maintenance. Imagine the same thing for ships.

That sort of thing is a lot more complicated and definitely out of scope for now, but it's interesting for future consideration -- especially if it wins a dlc poll or similar.

It's a holiday so I was coding what I liked ;)

Added for 4.042 as the "Redirection Tries To Maintain Garrison Of" and "Stop Building Military If Have Garrison Of" planet-specific controls.

Now, whether these will really do what you want, I can't say. It can be hard to maintain a specific composition of types particularly with the redirection one. But they seem at least reasonably useful.

Thanks for implementing this, I am looking forward to seeing if its used by other players and getting feedback. I see a lot of potential for growth in defense tactics by some basic template work and logic for when to build, and what to build, to what number, etc. Once the tools are there, the players can figure out how they want to use them.

It looks very interesting, I'm sure there will a good utility of this in one of my games. It would help in maintaining strategic outposts on otherwise isolated planets for starters.
