Summary0001552: Hybrids > Turrets
DescriptionI've had to reload several times because I've underestimated hybrids, whose sole mission is to annoy me beyond all possible boundaries. One of these cases, is to essentially ignore my homeworld turret defense bed, which consists of 60:
- sniper turrets,
- MRLS turrets,
- basic turrets,
- laser turrets,
- missile turrets.

Amongst a few other types, most of which have in range the hybrids in question for the full duration. The problem here is that, well, turrets are largely ineffective against the shields of the hybrids, which anyways, when destroyed, are simply rebuilt, mitigating most of the damage that should have damaged the hull directly.

I would like to see that:
a) some turret(s) are given a significant bonus against the forcefield hull type (structural), mostly sniper and laser turrets,
b) the duration of which the forcefield is rebuilt is greatly increased.*

* I'm actually tired of this happening overall; destroying the forcefield of a hybrid and seeing it rebuilt within 10 seconds is by far one of the more aggravating aspects of their existence beyond their laser modules.

There's been a lot of shifts over time, and I'm pretty happy with them at the moment. They are meant to eat your turrets.

Aren't hybrids supposed to be better than most Mk. I and a good chunk of Mk. II turrets? They are supposed to actually cause you to put effort into defending. And to be fair, riot control ships can also rebuild their force fields in a stupidly short amount of time. That's one of the reasons I rarely see a riot control ship die.
