Is this due to the preference of ships to attack the base ship over any modules it may have? |

"Lower" modules are pretty much ignored by all autotargeting just to make things easier on the cpu and whatnot. There's _rarely_ a tactical advantage to be had by attacking a laser or machine gun module. I'll think about it, but I'm not really planning to change this. |
