Summary0001324: Intelligence miner (unit for gathering intelligence about the AI)
DescriptionThis unit would be roughly similar to the MK III Research Lab in terms of cost, build time and generation of AI aggression. Rather than adding knowledge, at intervals of 10-15 minutes, it would reveal random nuggets of intelligence by hacking communications to and from the nearby AI Command Centre (perhaps it would have to be built within a certain range).

Intelligence could consist of scouting random planets, revealing the locations of certain structures (such as half or two thirds of the Ion cannons or Fabricators on the map), provide up to date ship counts for all previously scouted planets or even a rough indication of where the next Cross Planet Attack is going to come from.

The player shouldn't be able to keep this structure permanently as it could be too useful. After a while, the aggression showed by the AI could increase to a point where the unit will be over-run, or information could be come increasingly scarce as the AI realises its being hacked and re-routes its communications.
