Summary | 0001155: Tutorial advises you to build an advanced warp sensor when it's too late
Description | After you've captured the first AI system, the tutorial advises you to build an advanced warp sensor to detect which wormhole the impending wave will be arriving from. At this point it's too late, warp sensors won't tell you where already incoming waves will arrive from, it has to be built before the wave is announced for that behaviour to work. This also happens later in the campaign when you've taken the 3rd system I think although it may be a 3 wormhole system with 2 incoming waves which makes it a moot point (the 3rd wormhole goes to one of your systems). This is before it explains gate-raiding.

That's actually not correct, you can build an advanced warp sensor at any time on a planet and it will tell you where the wave is coming from. |
