I cannot duplicate this issue. What I'm seeing is that the whip is moving the appropriate distance, which is shorter in both the X and Y axes, but which is also still the appropriate distance traveled. If you remember your geometry, the length of the line between two corners of a square is substantially longer than the length of any of the sides. I've attached a debugging screenshot that shows where my spells from fire whip landed. As you can see, they make a perfect square that has been rotated 45 degrees of the normal axis (as you would expect). Please do let me know if this is not what you're seeing, of course. |
