Summary | 0010358: New script condition: PreventLeavingSublevel
Description | I'm really enjoying the implementation of the new script condition, AllowsNormalGameplay. It's great fun to be able to move while scripted enemy movement is occurring. However, I've already found two instances where I would really like to keep the player(s) from leaving the sub-level while the script is running. If you do leave the sub-level, the script pauses and then resumes whenever you step back into that screen. No harm there, aside from interrupting the story sequence. (Example, squid running toward Pierce.) However, if you leave the entire level and step back in, the script starts over from the beginning. (Example, the wolves at Stantonsburg.) So, I would like a condition called PreventLeavingSublevel to temporarily disable exit tiles while the script is playing. It would be frustrating, of course, for the tiles to exist yet not be operable. Therefore, I would also like the tiles to turn invisible during the course of that script. A work-around would be to write script that removes all the exit tags and then recreates them at the end of the script, but that would be time-consuming and prone to mistakes.
