Summary | 0010317: Cold Dispersion Tower can't be entered because its COLD | ||||
Description | See screenshot. I've was able to purify 3 of the 4 surrounding tiles of the cold dispersion tower, but the 4th is an impasse block. I cannot easily see a way to purify this tile without using several actions to break the walls down to purify the impasse square. I cannot purify that tile directly, since it's too cold there. | ||||

I have encountered this issue as well. Purified all tiles around the tower, was still unable to purify the tower itself. |

I would be okay with having to run across a chunk that constantly damaged me to get a feature if said chunk actually had enough enemies for me to run across while killing to get HP back. I think I'm stuck right now because I'm playing a lower platforming difficulty, and so monster aggression is too low for me to do it. If that type of chunk had an arbitrarily high monster aggression compared to all other tiles it'd be possible for me to finish. I suppose I could "fix" it by dying a whole bunch so monster aggression rises, but why should I have to do that? This isn't Super Meat Boy. That and monster aggression never feels like it rises, and I've died quite a bit on the Henchmen. |

Have you tried sending survivors to destroy the impasse tiles around the tower? I think that should clear them out to let you purify those regions. I can't tell if they're a cold region as well or not from the screenshot. |

Re: Madcow, there are literally no tiles left to purify around the tower in my game. |

Yes, the recent changes have not affected this issue. |

Thanks! * Cold dispersal and heat dispersal towers no longer have to be surrounded by purified tiles (which could be impossible at worst, and was annoying at best). Now they are purified as soon as you get other tiles purified next to them, like caves and such. ** The big reason for this is that you can't directly purify these regions without dying of cold or heat in order to do it! |
