The map screen does say on the bottom left how dangerous the area you are on is. You think we need more than this? |

A "do you really want to go here?" message would be nice. Maybe if you say "yes" the message won't appear again for that tile. |

@tigersfan: More information is always better. Players should always have a logical method by which to gauge their skills versus the challenges they choose to take on. The strategy mode, while it's getting interesting and fun, it can be somewhat hard to figure out what to do. The monster aggression variable makes no sense to me as a player and it also makes no sense that the danger percentage does not seem linked to the monster aggression variable. Because the variable makes sense to you (the developers), and not to us at first glance, why not make the variable return different words on the tile itself depending on height of difficulty? There's a reason when we play DooM we choose Ultra-Violence when we want hard and Hurt Me Plenty when we want it not so hard, versus 80 and 50. People would start up the game and wonder what the difficulty numbers imply first as a continuum of which end is easy, but also of scale. Would 80 be twice as hard as 40, or like the 40 difficulty squared? That and if you at ARCEN feel that there should be less information to make a more challenging experience, why not have a toggle at world creation as part of the difficulty settings, like we get Pawn and Knight for difficulties we can get an Expert difficulty that removes tutorials and forefront messages. It would be similar to the Hardcore mode of Call of Duties. |

> The map screen does say on the bottom left how dangerous the area you are on is. You think we need more than this? I'm not in the habit of looking there before entering a region. I imagine it's the same for other players, because usually it's not relevant. |

maybe have the tile glow orange/red? |
