Summary0006561: Can this death animation logic be changed?
DescriptionFor me, there is one problem with death animation in AVWW: when enemy dies, it still "alive" in terms of hitting and firing. Mostly it's not very big - well, I am receiving one-two extra hits from "dead" enemy - but at least in one particular case it became strong issue.

I am speaking about Urban Crawler and Battlefield missions. With current logic "enemy dead only after full animation played" and long animation of crawler, it became uber-enemy. I can kill him quite fast, but then it became "invulnerable obstacle" for several precious seconds, as all hits blocked by this "dead" enemy, he still fire and hit me and my allies, and I cannot to do anything against him!

Of course, I am only began to play the game. So if there are exist other enemies with similar animation later in game, it will be the same issue too.

I'll throw my 2 cents in here.

It feels wrong that the tank is still able to fire it's weapons during this time. What's the deal - are you dead or not? It would be nice if once you got it to critical hitpoints, it at least stopped firing. "RAMMING SPEED" if you will.

I'm personally fine with it taking a while to blow up though, it seems appropriate given the nature of it being a tank or sorts.

That's a feature, not a bug! Urban crawlers don't just die. When you get them to 0 health they go "out of control" and on fire for 5 seconds, then explode. Stay away from them during that whole process!

*Sigh* Actually, I suspected it. :) But I still feel that it is too powerful for battlefield because of that - it is stops all damage all this time... Oh, well, if you feel it right, then what can I do? :)
