| Description | Description: Tower mainframes provide a 20% buff to energy consumption, lowering it for compute buildings within the subnet. The buff is stackable up to 3 times and each mainframe costs 28K energy to build. However due to the costs of the mainframes being constant and the return being smaller with each "stack" the highest returns are actually gained from building a singular mainframe with all compute based buildings placed within that subnet. Steps to reproduce: 1. Unlock tower mainframes 2. Place them in a subnet with other buildings 3. Through calculation observe that you're not receiving enough savings to justify building more than one mainframe Notes: - For specific data on how much energy is saved by tower mainframes per amount of built buildings please refer to the attached excel file | ||||
